Welcome to FORM:London

Thank you to all our partners and exhibitors and to those who visited FORM 2008.

Following an in-depth review of FORM 2008, Clarion Events Limited has made the decision that FORM: London will not be managed by Clarion in 2009 and beyond.  FORM 2008 saw the show evolve significantly since the inaugural Fair in 2007. However, there is still much needed to develop the brand and this is not part of Clarion’s current strategy.

Exhibitors and visitors alike praised the content and striking design of the show, with a good selection of exhibitors across a range of disciplines, engaging features and an exciting ‘dna’ emerging talent area. It was clear from the results at the show that the event is taking shape as a key European art and design event and strong sales, particularly at the Collectors Preview, reinforced this. However, the event still needs to gain the support of some key brands whose presence is vital to the success of the show.

Freya Simms, Show Director, commented “Ruth Minchin and her team have made an impressive contribution to the European art market with the launch of FORM - the only show of its kind in Europe merging modern and contemporary with art and design. The decision, although disappointing is certainly the right one. Clarion Events is currently talking to other event organisers and interested parties with a view to another company running the event in the future”.
